Cyclone dust collector is a very useful dust pollution control equipment used to control dust in the working environ where the material is handled in powder form or dust is generated in the process. The centrifugal force of moving dust particle in the cyclonic action is utilized to separate dust from the mainstream air. Dust particles down to 15 microns which constitute about 95% of floating dust can be removed from the air with a simple cyclone.
The Cyclone Dust Collector uses the nature of physics to remove dust particles from your line. The Cyclone dust collector of the air inside the carbon steel cyclone drops the dust particles into the dust collection canister. No power or compressed air are required. Our cyclone dust services consist of periodic emptying of the dust canister. Dirty air enters the Cyclone tangentially and centrifugal force moves the particulate against the cone wall, out of the air stream, to a storage unit. Clean air exhausts out of the Cyclone. A venturi scrubber consists of a converging section, a throat (the narrowest part of the venture tube) and a diffuser. The dust/gas mix flows through the venturi tube and reaches top speed in the throat section. Thereafter, the mixture passes into the diffuser where the speed drops again. Liquid is added to the gas flow either in the throat section or prior to it. Intensive mixing takes place between the gas and the liquid in the throat section of the venture tube. Due to the high speed realized by the gas and liquid, water is released in fine water droplets.
The venturi scrubber itself has a low volume. The dimensions of the installation are primarily determined by the droplet separator, which can be a few times larger than the scrubber. Venturi scrubbers can be used to remove small particles from a gas stream. However, they can also be used for larger particles, though energy use is relatively high in such cases. In some venturi it is possible to vary the width of the throat section, thus allowing the separator to be adjusted for varying flow volumes thus retaining a high yield.

The operating principle of the AIR dust Collector is cyclonic action. Dust laden air / gas enters top of the precipitating cells at inlet ramps which directs the gas into a spiral flow. A cyclonic scrubber is a method of removing particulates from an air, gas or liquid stream, without the use of filter through vortex separation. When removing particulate matter from liquid, a hydro cyclone is used; while from gas, a gas cyclone is used. Rotational effects and gravity are used to separate mixtures of solids and fluids. The method can also be used to separate fine droplets of liquid from a gaseous stream.
A high speed rotating air flow is established within a cylindrical or conical container called a cyclone. Air flows in a helically pattern, beginning at the top (wide end) of the cyclone and ending at the bottom (narrow) end before exiting the cyclone in a straight stream through the center of the cyclone and out the top. Larger (denser) particles in the rotating stream have too much inertia to follow the tight curve of the stream, and thus strike the outside wall, then fall to the bottom of the cyclone where they can be removed. In a conical system, as the rotating flow moves towards the narrow end of the cyclone, the rotational radius of the stream is reduced, thus separating smaller and smaller particles. The cyclone geometry, together with volumetric flow rate, defines the cut point of the cyclone. This is the size of particle that will be removed from the stream with 60% efficiency. Particles larger than the cut point will be removed with a greater efficiency, and smaller particles with a lower efficiency as they separate with more difficulty or can be subject to re-entrainment .
